Guys I think the time has finally come that the 300zx Magic is lost on me. I took my tt out of storage recently and re registered it. I haven't driven it for about a year.

Even though it still does everything really well. It just doesn't grab me like it used to. I have owned it since 2006 and it's been a hell of a ride. But I think it's time to tidy up a few things and move it on to someone who still has a real passion for these cars.

So keep an eye out over the coming months if you are interested in upgrading, buying a piece of forum history or taking advantage of the fact that I will be losing over 20k on the transaction.

besides, your Zed still has the magic in her, she made $20K vanish, but that magic is only lost if you let her go :zlove:

Nope! Install it and snap another gearbox good and proper.

I understand Rollins thoughts. But I just love the torque and honestly the reliability of the zed. Strong diff and engine. Can do a 1.3 60 ft on stock suspension. Pretty good for what I want to do.

Drove a fd rx7 and it was laaaaaaame.

    What's next then??

I'm in your universe - Couldn't agree more. For what I put my Z through it's very reliability (mind you I tend to replace things before the break and I certainly have sunk a ton of money in it which mostly wasn't necessary)

Yeah you can't argue with the performance. Mine performs very well and I love that. However , brute power is not at the very top of my list as it once was.

As for what's next, I've still got my m3 and my BMW track car. If I buy something else it will be a car that suits my needs a bit more, practicality, ground clearance etc. wrx, dc2r. Maybe an old m5

Wouldn't have been easy to admit Niall, as long as I've known you there's been passion and knowledge of 300ZX's running through your veins. Whatever your next ride is, I hope it brings a smile to your face like your Z did.....(come on, it still does, surely!) ;)

Do the old M5 for sure. E34 or E39? Easy to make brute power if the bug bites again and you're starting with something a step above the old Z32 in pretty much every way. I'm a BMW tragic though...
