ok so i wasnt as fussy as you guys, im not a fan of the targa or the horsepower of tt, me i liked them for the shape theres something about how they squat...yes squat not sit i supose we all like them for diferent reasons, its a 2 seater non turbo auto hardtop, as i live in townsville im not a fan of targa in 40 degree heat. for those of you who know raven it is his car, ive posted some pics i took after i got back , lol yes i washed it at car lovers as you guys probably woulda gone off at me if i posted pics with a windscreen full of dead bugs :-0 i picked it up in brisbane at about 8pm went to visit my parents and departed brisbane at 11:30 pm and arrived in townsville 1500 odd kilometers later, it was great im probably gonna sleep for a day but i was impressed it handled everything i threw at it and then some. plans for it? um yeah mainly apearance, as im a spraypainter ill tear it down and totaly repaint it and remove about 3 dents that are in it and a nasty spot in the tailgate.... hmm ive said this before and the rebuild took 4 years on a commodore...but anyway encase you cant guess im as happy as a jap in a "z" lol cheers Psycho 8D <BR>[image]http://members.getonit.net.au/grim/zed5.jpg[/image][image]http://members.getonit.net.au/grim/zed4.jpg[/image]<BR>[image]http://members.getonit.net.au/grim/zed3.jpg[/image][image]http://members.getonit.net.au/grim/zed1.jpg[/image]
updated car is a 2 seater non turbo hardtop finished in charcoal grey<BR> the interior is spotless and raven should be damn proud at how the car was presented the engine bay looks like new<BR> as i said in past posts im a spray painter so im a fussy bastard, im really only hoping to repaint it after i fix ravens let me check the power steering fluid and forget to put the lid on trick and dinted the bonnet P joking raven ) , new wheels 17s maybe 18s tint the windows and put in my alpine head unit and just cruise, im nearly 37 ill leave the go fast stuff to the younger guys now and ill play with the purdy things
all i can say mate is... its a Zed. of course we all love them for differing reasons but in the end we love them cos theyre a zed.Cory
thanks guys as i said im as stoked as a jap in a zed i went off today to get the windows tinted and then to see my mate at bob janes... it helps with price when he owns the store... heh. anyways ishould have 17 or 18'' chrome rims by friday. and thanks for the comments much appreciated. Psycho 8D
hey mate, Im a Z owner from townsville aswell, we should catch up somtime. you might see me getting around next week, black Z with a transformers sticker on the bonnet and 18's
will definatley catch up mine is charcoal grey will have chrome rjr action 17 inch mags tinted windows as well theres a few of us in town should organise a bbq or cruise up to paluma or something
