My dad used to run a panel shop, so I'll be cool to let him teach me how to paint, but he lives in QLD... I'll be moving there in January, but in the meantime I'd like to read some DIY guides so I can learn more about the technique... I've had it explained to me a few times, and it sounds easy enough if you just take your time and do it all slowly, and make sure you mask everything off... Can anyone point me towards any guides to teach me some more? Cheerz! :zlove:
Air comp What kind of info are you looking for Eg spraying or prep. One tip for spraying when mixing paint, use a nylon stocking over the pot poring paint through it traps any inpurities, good to have 2pots for mixing, have test spray wall or item so you can test and ajust spray pattern for best finish.
Re: Air comp Thanks for the tip, I'll keep that in mind, but I think I'll get the paint matched and mixed somewhere beforehand. I'd just like to learn how to prep properly, and I'd also like to learn proper techniques for actually spraying, and I'll definitely have a test wall handy.
