Bought a nice red auto zed, wacked some wheels on, put my coil overs in to dump it on its as ass as i do. drove it for a little while, then took it off the road to address a few oil leaks. There was an oil leak on the front I thought it was a cam seal, pulled it all apart to do 160K service, re-installed it all, running sweet OIL was still there, did some searching found the VVT gears can leak, Some thing that I think should be added to the 100K service guide, CHECK YOUR VVT GEARS, by doing the following and trying to spin it, if you can spin it.. BIN IT ! Then they auto tranny started acting up, doing funny things like it had a huge high stall in it, but I think it was some thing to do with the blown Engine control fuse, so the car went back up on axel stands shortly after my tech day, to re-address the oil leak and hopefully figure out the auto box issues. Then I thought, why mess around with this auto, MANUAL all the way, so I ripped out the auto, pulled the front of the motor down again, and it just sat there for a month? as I started a new job and just didn?t seem to have any time for it. Then the Easter long weekend came and I went full on 110% on the car, got most of it done, except a few things Cutting the hole in the firewall was fun, there is no way I could see it being done with the plenum on !!! Then fitting the clutch pedal and booster, is a big PAIN in the ass, i spent hours cramped under the dash trying to get it in, phew. Then the HICAS unit was giving me the evil's so I thought i'll make that disappear too! By the next weekend it was running, but not on all cyls LOL, long story short it was a dodge sparkplug, but the park plug when i took it out and had it in the coil pack, was sparking up fine, just wouldn?t work in the motor hmm, but after that she was sweet, light weight flywheel UDP revs damn nicely night and light. So this weekend, I eyed up the inside, and thought i would change out the interior Now I am just going to drive and enjoy it !! lol
Great photos as ever! Always good to see another red zed getting the best treatment, and looking mint! Cheers, Andrew P.S. Thats a funny number plate. has my initials in it and the year i was born lol Well if you spin the letters just a bit

It is low, but is exagerated by the fact that the piccie was taken with the car on his lawn!! Cheers Rob
