I got a new hood button! =) So here is a before and after shot. Before... After... Well...I guess I did a little more than install my new hood button. More to come on upgrades and such...
Nice, but why leave off the throttle cable cover Very nice, but why leave off the throttle cable cover ... I just don't get this current trend to leaving off the throttle cable cover. They look so good when they are painted to match the car's colour or the timing belt covers. But hay what do I know; I find a women in lacy underwear a lot hotter than a fully naked one ... go figure.
With the Carbing Shock Tower Bar there is no way to get the Throttle cover on there. I would leave it on if I could and paint it to match. I have to get one from Charles @Powertrix... Here... http://www.powertrix.com/z32cf_dup.htm Down at the bottom of the page... the reason I left off the Throttle Cover on Venator's build is because there wasn't enough room with the way the Fuel Lines were ran due to the 300Degree Rails and Stainless Braided Line. I definitely like the look with the Throttle cover on too. I think I may just try to modify one myself to fit...
Yup. Another thing on my list of things to do. Ever since I bought the car though the Fan Shroud has been off. It has an after market larger Dual-Core Radiator in it and I have NEVER had any issues with cooling even on hotter than hot days in traffic. Thanks. Here is a list of my current Mods. I am sure I have forgot a few things too... Just a little old N/A Z32. 1 in 1253 ever made in Azure Blue Pearl color. My buddy bought the car when we were in high school in 1993 then sold it to me in 2001. Always has had the plate SPDY Z since 1993. Started with full 120k kit and all hoses/maintenance completed. All possible deletes have been done to the car, AIV's, PRVR, Carbon Canister, EGR. Stillen Headers, Test Pipes, H-Pipe, Greddy Mufflers. Stillen Intake POP Charger. Dual 58mm Z-1 Throttle Bodies. JWT ECU. Apexi NEO AFC. Full AMS Underdrive Pulley Kit. Fidanza Flywheel. Lightweight SPEC Clutch Pack. Z-1 Aluminum One-Piece Driveline. All rear Suspension Components replaced with Powertrix Adjustable Components. All Front Suspension Components replaced with Powertrix Adjustable Components. Powertrix(HSD) Solid Upper Pillow Ball 15-way Adjustable Full Race Coilovers. Full R32 Skyline Brake Setup. DP Motorsports Carrera Cup 18" Wheels. 99+ JDM Fascia. Stillen GTZ Rear Valence. This car is Autocrossed and driven hard daily. I personally performed all upgrades myself.
Are you the one with the poofy looking beret? Loving the colour though, never seen one like that over here.
Love the colour and the change in the engine bay is incredible. I think the hat is a "chesse cutter" not a beret
Exceptional transformation, nice & clean NA bay, the way it should be. Personally I think the Hard Pipes from the first photo would top it off completely Off subject, but any details of your power figures with the mentioned modifications ?
^^^ Yes that is me in the poofy looking beret...Call it what you will but the girls love it so to each his own. I get compliments from girls all the time for that hat. Satin lined Coal FTW... http://coalheadwear.com/considered/winter/unisex/hats/freeman ^^ Thank you sir. ^ Thanks! Not yet. I am going to Dyno tune and screw with my Apexi NEO at the same time to see how far I can go with stock Injectors. Since they are 270's I do not really see any issues with the Injectors though. I am guessing MAYBE like 225 or 230 HP. That would be nice. It is pretty fast for an N/A. The fastest N/A Z32 that I have ever ridden in or driven in my life. Now before I get flamed or the information misconstrued...I would like to see 225-230 HP to the wheels after tuning the AFC. This is also with 180k miles on the stock Engine with absolutely nothing done to the Internals whatsoever. I may be waaaaaay off and I am fine with that. That number is just what I would like to see with my setup. Then I will compare numbers with everything that I have and a FRESH Engine. That will be of course when this one takes a crap on me.
^^^ Color code = BJO = Azure Blue Pearl Metallic ^^ Raw sandblasted Aluminum. Nothing else. Prep is to soak them in the sump of a parts washer at a machine shop overnight to get all of the grime off of them then Steam Clean them, dry them and sandblast them. The true beauty of Aluminum. ^ That is so funny I was just going to start a thread on that...Wouldn't "Bonnet Button" sound funny though? lol and thanks man! Here... http://www.aus300zx.com/forum/showthread.php?p=929784#post929784
Haha, I'm sure the girls love it If I lived somewhere cold I would have a nice assortment of funky hats too
Probably call them a bonnet rubbers in Aus, but that's another story again And we say aluminium, not aluminium
