I have to say that your shaved z'd looks awsome, and i was just wondering a couple of days ago what kind of back up system there is in place if something were to go wrong (as aftermarket electrical stuff is bound to fail sooner or later) .... i guess that has answered my question. Hope you get it sorted out and it isn't too costly!!
Damn it, i wanted to come up with a solution to be the hero that saved you, lol but i dont know, so instead il just compliment your car, HOTT. Ohh and thank god you didnt sell it. PM coming your way too
So do you need a new battery? If yes send me a PM, work in the industry and can hook you up with a good one for next to nothing.
PM on it's way Not to help you outta this situation but a couple of fail safes for the future that I use Smithy
hahaha yeh im still laughing...sorry halz cant help it ..i got no clue how to help u on this one...so im just gonna laugh....so here it goes... hahahahahhahahahaha
Well, you'll all be glad to know, i got into my car last night!! I won't publicly post how, but if anyone needs to break into their Zed, I'm your girl!! Probably only took about 10 mins! (I was just lazy all week) It was such a relief... i gave her a good bath and went for a loooong drive. Thanks so much to everyone PMing their suggestions and advice... couldn't have done it without you!!! Haylz - one happy Zedder :zlove:
A brick and i could do it in about 30 secs, but i suppose you like your windows, especially when it rains
Female Zed Owners... Take note... This is why females shouldn't... Actually, out of interest for my own safety I won't finish that sentence... Glad you got back into your car... Don't worry, I've done it many a time...and I'm a guy! Lucky for me I have a special tool to get back in... - A spare key... Ok, I'll stop now... Happy Boostin'! Rob.
I don't think a spare key would have helped as Haylz has no door handles On a previous car that I installed an alarm and C/locking kit to, I put a hidden switch in that activated the central locking, so if I locked my keys in, I could still pop the doors. You could do similar for the door latch servos. Since geting married, and having a second person around with a matching set of keys, it's not as important, as the chance of locking both sets in the car is very low.
Yeah, well my issue was the boot lock. i have heaps of spare keys everywhere and my Plan B is to crawl through the boot, but my boot lock has managed to break itself and i couldn't get in there either!
no, that's not the moral at all. there is nothing wrong with having no door handles. after speaking to people since posting this thread HEAPS of people lock their keys in their car and they do have door handles. so this is not a Haylz car is so stupid story at all!!
NO, the real moral of this story is: we all love HaylZ AND her shaved car... and just wish we'd each been the hero who solved her prob....
