Thanks, and I hope your birthday was good. What I wouldn't give to be nineteen again and know what I know now..... I'd do almost everything differently -except own Zed's, that is! :zlove:
Hmmm.. Well.. I really can't go into too much detail, but "To thine own self be true" would be a good motto to live by, though, I think. - basically do what you think is best for you, not what other people want you to do. I listened to "significant elders" too many times earlier in my life - affecting my career, relationships, wealth, well-being, health, basically everything. I think if you're going to listen to anyone's advice, make sure you know what their agenda is before you take notice. Also, when you're contemplating a course of action, always ask yourself, "What's the worst that could happen?" If you can cope with that, do it! I didn't and I denied myself many of the happinesses that most people take for granted because I didn't jump in and do what (I only realize now) I could have. Here endeth the lesson.
happy birthday john if i had noticed earlier i could have baked you a cake, but they don't seem to stand up to well with my driving  did you buy any birthday presents for yourself from your zed??? i know i did for mine this saturday ( have to wait and see what they are :thumbsup i always used to take the day off for my b'day at school but i'm not sure how your students would go if you did that:LOL:
The only advice I give these days is not to listen to other ppls advice You're right, though, John. Other people can stuff up your life bigtime if you don't know where they're coming from. HBTY.
Thanks for your thoughts, Ian No, I didn't allow my Zed any presents. It was a strictly non-automotive birthday but OK nonetheless! Best wishes for Saturday, too, mate, wonder how many other Scorpios there are in aus300zx.com? And no, I'd have loved to have taken the day off, but I couldn't let some other poor mug take my classes!
