How much does an Auto Tranny wiegh?

when i removed mine

it weighed around 50 kgs, plus tranny fluid at about 10 kgs or so.....thats just a geusstimation i cant remember exactly but me and another guy could just lift it together so that should give you a idea.....

 

I thought it was around 90KG

The manual box is around 50kg

 

depends on wether you take the torque convertor out

.....sorry should have said that was with convertor out....

I work for a transmission manufacturer we build 4 speed autos for Ford they are around 68kgs full of oil etc.
