I got a bit bored this morning so i decided to remove my rear wing (Brazilian Style) to see what my car would look like. So i started removing all the plastic panels on the inside of the hatch hoping to find some bolts that hold it on. But to my surprise i couldnt find any. Just wondering if anyone knows how to remove it?
If God wanted it off, it would fall off. It's a messy job getting it off, and it requires welding-up holes and repainting the hatch, not to mention the purchase of a $300 fill-in panel with Rear Brake Light. If God wanted it off, it would fall off.
Ive got the other style spoiler where the 3rd brake light panel is already there. The fairlady z stock spoiler.
Two screws and heaps of double sided tape I done mine last week and there were only two screws but heaps of doubled side tape a real pain to get of. Had holes filled up and respray the hatch. you will find 2 very small nuts on the very corners (inside) that you take off the rest are just clips that leave the holes on top of the hatch. Hope this helps
All good I got it off. It had three screws on each side under those seals on the edge of the hatch. So easy! Im dont know how to add an image. Does anyone know a good image sharing website?
Here's a couple of photo/video sharing websites that are free to use: www.photobucket.com www.bolt.com Good options for resizing images too, so they're not too huge in your posts.
