To all the guy's who bought the Nismo Clear side indicators from NATE in the recent group buy, how did you get them to fit.

    1) Did you file down one of the lugs on the bulb socket? If so which one?
    2) Modify the hole in the indicator to fit? If so How?
    3) Other clever ideas? - Share please!

Did they fit okay or were they loose?
    Cheers Tim:)

    I bought the adaptors.

They have the same connection as the Nismo indicators just have to splice them into your existing wiring loom.

Buying these adaptors is probably the option that is the most cost ineffective, but it worked.

If I were to do it again I would get out the dremel and start hacking ;-)

    Regards

This is very easy to do Planit Z, basically i just used a file to file down the 2 smaller pins on the light connector(Brown). Didnt take that long bout 5 mins all up, Even with the two small pins gone they still fit both the original and nismo indicators and still lock into the light housing.

    Flat head screw driver... :)

    That's right...

All you need is a flat head screw driver...oh and the hot plate in your kitchen... :)

Using the existing wiring loom as a guide, place it up against the Nismo indicator to see where you have to cut the notch.

Basically, you use a flat head screw driver, the same size as the notch on the indicator. Turn the hot plate on in your kitchen, heat the screw driver head on it till it's damn hot. Burn yourself a new notch on the indicator plastic. It makes a perfectly neat cut.

    Takes around 10 mins.

And now that the hot plate is preheated, you can cook yourself some breakfast...

    Cheers
    Rob.
