Cheers. There turbos have Comp 42 54 Exhaust 41ish. Didnt measure the large dia as i didn't want to strip the exhaust housing. Seems like it is slightly larger than stock? No idea what id it is.
The turbos have 5 bolt outlets and also have HKS cast into the compressor housings. God knows what they are ATM.
0.49 oh dude thats not even going 2 really be a step up from stockies mate !!! might be worth throwing them in the bin of flogging them off.... what ever they are they are small. why not just grab some 28r turbos aka 2560r there 900 bucks new off the shelf man
A T25 .49a/r is similar size to T2 .63a/r so sounds like a HKS T25 with similar size housings as stock be like a high flow stock turbo
I am just going to give Rich his money back. These are obviously not what I was told they where. I had no clue by looking at them and the identifying tags are not on the CHRA's like normal Garrett turbos Nisport sold these to the guy who had his engine rebuilt by them as HKS 2530's. Obviously not what they where supposted to be. No wonder Nisport went broke and the dodgy owner shot through. I hope the engine I have sitting here that is supposed to have been rebuilt with forged bits is actually rebuilt with forged internals. I will have to pull the sump and check before selling it now. Apparently he was charged 12K for a forged rebuild and the HKS 2530's
Got my old 2510's apart for some measuring... These ones have been rebuilt with Z32 centre housings. I have had a lot of trouble finding information about these turbo's off the net. Bit of info about the newer GT2510's, but not these older ones. Compressor: Inducer: 42.5mm Exducer: 60.1mm Trim: 50 Number of blades: 6/12 954 cast into the compressor wheel A/R unknown, not noted on housing. I'll take it to work and measure it somehow. DR23407-5 punched into housing (looks factory, google doesn't find anything) PT09032260 punched into housing (looks hand punched google doesn't find anything) HKS cast into housing. Turbine (hard to measure with verniers - odd number of blades): Inducer: 52mm Exducer: 42mm Trim: 65 Number of blades: 11 984 cast into turbine wheel (very hard to read, so might be wrong) A/R : 0.49 M3 cast into housing 02D cast into housing 5 bolt rear flange What's the chance of finding a 0.64A/R rear housing for it? I'll put pictures up later, camera is flat
i have a set of 2510s so i can clear a few things up to help out compressor side is same specs as gt28rs turbine side same specs as gt28r core is just the same as any t25 core inconel shaft journel bearing well mine are anyway fitted with hks dual port wastegate actuators (which i dont understand maybe someone can help out) i have pictures of mine in my rebuild thread
compressor wheel should be like the gt2530 http://www.hksusa.com/products/?id=703 COMPRESSOR: -Wheel- 63 Trim - 47.7 Inducer / 60.1 Major -Housing- 60 Inlet / 50 Outlet - 0.60 A/R TURBINE: -Wheel- 62 Trim - 53.0 Major / 41.7 Exducer -Housing- GT25 inlet / Internal GT25 oulet - 0.64 A/R basically same performance as GT28R's dont know about the old version which seem to have smaller housings (like stock)?? if they even are gt2510's??
mine has hks on compressor housing, garrett on chra and garrett on turbine housing, half cast really lol, t25 rebuild kits work yaya ftw, just to get mine balanced now by who and where? i wrote i was getting em high flowed before to stir a few up mwhahahah
Hmm, gonna be interesting to see what these bit-sa's will do. Obviously if you got some new turbos you know exactly what you're getting into. I just hope these end up a success with some worthwhile power for you Ethan, as pulling the engine can get annoying just to replace turbos...
