11 Zeds + 4 or 5 others made for a nice run through the cane fields and foothills of Tamborine before 571cky nearly came unstuck at the start of the 'gorge' run up the mountain Fortunately Weeeeezx was able to provide a spare Falcodore wheel to get Cameron going as his spacesaver doesn't fit over the calipers. Thanks to all who attended and I hope you enjoyed the MTBrewery beers and lunch. :zlove:
Well taking up the rear wasn't as painful as it sounded. It's a shame I never really got to use the car's full potential much but it was still a nice Sunday drive
sorry i couldnt make it, im sure i wasnt missed anyway lol but my brother fractired his toe last night so i was stuck looking after him all day
Nah, didn't miss ya! Day went well apart from my tyre giving way, thanks for your help Shaun. Will try and get tires tomorrow and return your wheel asap . Will post pics up when I get home.
hey, thanks for the horn blowing episode this morning guys - it was great, and you all looked very nice flying back......home everyone had a great day
(off topic: If it was a leg, we woulda let you off, but for a TOE how old is your brother?) Lil turt and I had a nice drive... It was interesting to see that beer still smells the same no matter what colour it was...lol It was nice to see a mix of zed colours as well weaving thru the twisties... Funny moment walking out and seeing some more senior people admiring our babies... one owned a Z31 and the other a Z32, apparently the Z32 had only genuine 37,000k's on it when she sold it to someone in Sydney - her husband bought her a jag... i told her i wouldve kept the zed..lol Now i need a clip for the side strip along the drivers side of the windscreen.... darn thing wont stay down....
Hey Guys and Girlz, Saw a few of your cars up the mountain, not many owners tho... None the less had an awesome day driving.. My first REAL zed experience.. Tamborine Mountain Rd is great!! (once you pass the yaris doing 35kmh, just in time for the 20k corners) Definately catch up for the next meet!!!
Once again a very enjoyable day Domi says hi to everyone and is feeling better. Was a bit of a flash back for me, I think my very first cruse started at the same mobil. Would have liked a bit more freedom without the public slow moes on the road but you can't help that. Lunch was well priced and tasty. Was quite relaxing, the only bad part was the M1 on the way home.:zlove::zlove:
Was that you coming out of emerald lakes i think thurs afternoon 5ish? Shame you werent there, perfect day for it...
I was so looking forward to coming on this one... so hanging out for a wheel of the triple cream brie from up there... but was definately not in a state to drive this morning due to WAY too many bottles of champagne and vodka! Hahahah! Hope you all had a great drive... will definately have to make a trip back up there again soon...
Sorry I missed it, but I wasn't sure where I was when I woke up so by the time I found my car, it was already 11am . A little less to drink next time
