Ok, just got off the phone from Nissan in Hobart... $340! Jesus! Dropped John at Cresta a PM to see i he's got any, anyone else have any ideas a good place to get one quickly (and preferrable cheaply)? And I'm not really in a position to get one made up, I need to have the part there when I get the car in pieces to swap over.

    Any ideas? Cheer guys.

Mine was just over $200 at my local Nissan stealership.

Dont buy this one from Coz or USA as LHD and RHD high pressure hoses are different.

hi pressure/hydraulic hose repairer. 2nd hand from cresta is recommended if John can confirm no leaks from his hose.

Pirtek/Enzed/Fluid Soloutions etc should be able to make one for you just as good if not better than OEM.

Alot of these guys have mobile vans so you can probably get someone to come out and make it up on the spot

    Thanks for the replies guys

But, unfortunately due to the lack of garage and the need of having a functioning car, I have to do it out on the street in front of my fathers house and get it done in a day on the weekend, so requires a part to swap straight in. Not really enough time to get someone out to make one up, even if they did work on weekends!

Anyway, John at Cresta has come to rescue with a decent second-hand one that will hopefully make it here by the weekend (assuming Aus Posts laughable "Guaranteed" next day delivery actually happens this time).

Hey mate i was in the same situation a year or so ago... went in to enzed on a saturday. Enzed bloke sent me to a workshop that 2 doors down from enzed. we worked all day on it  But now that this guy has done it it should be quicker for u. The mechanic... think they call him "Leathal" he's a bit of a character  let me help him work on the car... took us about 3 hours to get the leaking hose out.. then the enzed bloke whipped up a new one using the connections from the old one but with better braided hose and a longer steel flex hose insert. took about and hour and a half to put back in. All up cost me $200-300. cant quite remember cos it was a while ago. but there u have it... fixed in one day! :) and not a bad cost either.
