My zed has 115000km done a plenum pull by Bryan (BRYTECH) and various other repairs but after all this work my car has a idle of 1200rpm is hard to start and once it does start i can smell fuel over the injector i think, and i never get more than 300km out of a full tank its a auto na can someone help who knows how to repair zeds?I am in Victoria

You've dropped this in the wrong section mate. Should be in Z-Related technical.

But to answer your question, it sounds like your fuel line clamps are a bit loose, if it was new hose after the plenum pull, they can sometimes need a re-tighten as the hose wears in. Get a screw driver and hunt for the clamps and give them a tighten. A leaking fuel line not only is a ticking fire ball, but it also means low rail pressure for your first start, and poor fuel consumption.

Well if it catches fire from a fuel leak it will cost you much more than $2000(and he won't be able to fix it over the phone).

Emmanuel have a search on the forum in regards to "Bryan" & "Brytech" as it should explain quite a bit.

I'm unsure what the issue can be caused as I'm not mechanically smart. But i would highly recommend contacting fellow local members Wildzx (Noel) or Tektrader (Graham)...both know their stuff when it comes to zeds but can be busy at times.

Bad fuel consumption can be caused by several issues like old o2 sensors, bad connectors, engine being in bad condition or needing a service making it run rough...I'm sure there can be other reasons which somebody more qualified will be able to answer.

Nothing in this thread indicates that you have been "ripped-off" by anyone!
Until you can establish the cause of your current problems, you have no way of blaming them on the work carried out by Brian(if you can show that his work was the cause of this issue, then you have some basis for requesting redress from him).
Any legal recourse in this regard, will need to show that you have given Brian the opportunity to rectify this problem and that it was a direct result of sub-standard workmanship by him during previous attempts to fix this same problem(and for which you were subsequently entitled to expect it had been correctly repaired).
I am not defending Brian(nor am I criticising your actions), I am offering you advice on what obligations BOTH parties have in this issue.

At the end of the day, most of, if not all your related issues are related to a fuel clamp. New hose will often require a re-tighten after the engine has gone through a heat cycle. Not defending Bryan, but the rest of the work could have been carried out quite well, and going in gun ho will get you no where. Especially seeing he is a ghost...

Just tighten the fuel clamps. It's like zed basics 101.

My 300zx had the exact same issues after it was at the Z Shed. EXACT SAME

First I went over everything in the engine bay, cleaned all sensor connectors, found a leaking fuel clamp which was the source of my fuel smell. The idle issue and high rpm still went on but I installed an earthing kit (diy with $3 worth of wire) and it completely fixed the issue to this day. N/A auto.

My fuel economy also has gone to 500km per tank (easy driving) with the earthing kit.
