The high beams currently are not working well at all,
    They initially engage.
But flicker for 2 seconds then either both go out. Or one will ignite and stay on. But never both at once.

    Relay activates still.

I'm thinking maybe time for new high beam ballasts...?
They are 4 years old now

    sounds like ballast issues.

Hids for high beams? How long before they warm up?

tassuperkart Its a lie I tell you!

Might be worth investigating wiring resistance issues.
HID's seem to require a very high "inrush" current on initial startup. if your wiring isnt up to scratch, that may be contributing to the issues with a sudden and significant voltage drop.

    You say relays are working.

Have you wired a new harness and relay directly to the battery to make sure you have best possible voltage for the ballast? Have you checked the earth wire to ballast, it may have broken off after 4 years.

I ordered another set so I can rig them up to battery to test when I recieve

I personally think it's the ballasts.
As the low beams are also 55w HID and they work ::
