  1. Hi guys. Been searching for ages now. Does anyone have any pics or a good description of how to fit the high beam hid globe into the headlight. having trouble figuring it out. May help others doing this conversion aswell. Thanx in advance.

You need to take an old globe and cut the base off. You then mount the HID globe into that. A bit fiddly.

I'm sure somebody posted some more info and possibly pics about 12 months ago.

That's right. The high beam globe fits into a holder which is clipped into the headlight.

You need to drill a hole right through the holder so that you can fit the one piece HID bulb in there. A bit of drilling, reaming, filing and a little swearing is required to get it done. Once you have got the HID bulb nicely aligned inside the holder, then you seal it all up with your product of choice - I used Araldite. Then you simply clip the renovated holder back into the headlight as before.

I don't recall seeing any pics of this op before, but try Search. It is not a hard job to do, but a bit fiddly and time consuming.
