ok i have a plug for sale that will eliminate the HICAS. This plug will totaly dissable the rear stearing. And is as simple to instal as screwing in a bolt. this plug has the perfect thread for the job, its brand new never used ( only tested to make sure it fits, comes with a rubber gasket and FREE copper washer!!! fair enough. so exactly where does this plug in? how does this differ from electronically disabling hicas?
Re: fair enough. ok well im no expert here but i will try and explain what i can. The point of the plug is to just simply cut off the rear steering. You have 2 bolts that feed powersteering oil to the front and the rear, by unpluging the rear and replacing the bolt with the one i have for sale you can eliminate the rear steering. this is the most simple and cheap way to do it
all that will do is overheat your powersteering pump causing it to fail prematurely. The powersteering pump overheats because you are making all the fluid for the rear go through the overpressure valve causing it to heat up.
