I'm not one who publicly discusses political issues but feel that in this case something has to be done. This takes the cake as one of the Car government's mother of all stuff-ups in my opinion. After arriving home tonight all happy as, I found an OSR (Office of State Revenue)letter... need I say more. Land tax in NSW has gone through the roof!!!!!! Not only that, I want my money and want it NOW - Were talking 3 months starting from March to pay. I don't want to start a political saga here but this F^#K head is trying to rip ordinary Austalians of trying to create something with their lives. This also includes non investors. One thing he does not realise is that the investors will not be the ones that will suffer. It will be the people renting. Ordinary people who will have to fork out additional rent for this person's government idiocrisy. This is one too many F^#Kups to bare. 1. Hospitals (I hear it every day - my wife is a nurse) 2. Public transport - need I say more 3. Land tax now 4. Given this trend, I'm sure there will be more to come The way this guy is going, pretty soon we will be paying land tax for our own homes, in addition to rates!! Also, Taxed if your under the sky! - who knows... This is absolute crap. I have spoken to a lot of people regarding this and it appears that his position does not look good at the next state election. Peter
Not me, I wouldn't be allowed in .... 1) Haven't turned 70 and retired - just yet! 2) No white shoes in my wardrobe. 3) Qld cops banned me for driving up there without a front number plate. 4) I stood outside a pub once, and that's not allowed up there. You see it time and time again - They lose contact with the public! recently (not in any order) Kennet did it (and lost) Peterson did it (and lost) Keating did it (and lost) Howard nearly did it (Gulf war saved him), suspect this might still occur, A change is always good, regardless of the party.
