i have asked this queston else where but i beleive it hasnt attracted enought attention so here it is again. I have a J-spec TT and i want to know if i use H-1 globes for an HID setup, will these fit into the 9005 globe base without any mucking around? any responce welcome!
No, the base is different. I used a dremel to cut the base off the old globes and managed to get the HID's to mount into that. Bit fiddly. Don't forget to do the mod to leave the lows on together with the highs, or you will be flying blind for a few seconds when you switch from low to high or vice versa
Thanks stef, this is what i was after. The H-1's do fit but need tweeking. as you say it was fiddly but is there much needed to get them to fit?
