Hey - anyone remember me?

Well, i made a new signig coz my old one dont work.
anyway, the new nickname reflects the car i now own very happy.


Ive got a technical question.
The motor is the 1g-gte twin turbo. Im pretty sure the turbos are sequential, i want to increase boost. Which turbo do i "boost up"?
Also, the hose to the wastegate control diaphragms are infact not hoses, but solid metal tubes, do i need to cut them to install a manual boost controller?? is there any other choice?

As for the turbo question, i imagine you would upgrade them at the same time, much like you would in a Z.

i thought the soarer

had synchronious turbos, while the supra got the sequential turbos.

 

Get on to ANTILAG.COM...plenty of soarer action on there!

 

Here is supra 1jz motor - looks like its synchronous to me.

Yet to find pic of 1G-GTE exhuast manifold, so not actually 100% sure. But from the sound, its like they are sequential.

Close friend got your engine in a Ma40... main and seccondary.. main blew so he got both done... recond... took him 5 days lol!! put it bak on himslef!

so hes got a Boost guage and a manual Valve controller he adjusts with a Screw Driver... Makes a Big Boost increase... so it slams the fuel cut...the guage hits 14+ pounds from memory?? need any more info?
