hey all i was wondering if there was anyone in the albury wodonga region who has done a engine pull on a 300zx before, the reason why i need to pull the engine is due to my drivers side turbo seizing. there are no mechenics down here who will touch the 300zx and i have already tried to pull the turbo why engine is still in the car with no luck i was able to remove 2 bolts holding the turbo in just cant get to the others. any help would be better then none. cheers pauly
Have a feeling some guys undo the engine mounts then lift engine slightly to give better access but still not as easy as pulling motor .
yeh i thought that might be the case,for a 300zx engine pull im a complete rookie. i have done engine pulls before but nothing like this and if someone was in the area who has done it before could advise me on how to do it or even possibly help that would be great and probibly save me breaking somthing. cheers pauly
Hey Pauly, Not that experienced with an engine pull but can manage most of the other little tweaks. Shoot us a msg if you need a second set of hands. Based in West Albury. Also got the ECU cable for the laptop as well if needed. Cheers, Matt.
