    Hi All

Starting about 10 minutes ago, the Alarm on my Zed keeps going off, at random times.

The button on the remote doesn't switch it off, and during the quiet times, pressing the button the lock/unlock the door doesn't make the beeping noise it usually does.

Disconnecting the Battery didn't work either. I can't find the speaker so I can't disconnect that either

It's an Auto Watch alarm by the by. Not sure of the model, it came with the car.

Any suggestions? PM me if you feel the need for privacy. :D

Changed the battery in the remote?

No... Would that make the alarm goes off?

The remote still locks/unlocks the doors, but the alarm doesn't beep when it happens, and pressing the button makes no difference when it's going off..

is the key remote a black sort of oval with the middle curving in on both sides and then just a sort of half circle at the top for the button, and to the top right of it a small red led.....well i have that alarm system by auto watch.... but have no idea how to disarm it lol :D

if you have two remotes, try using the other one. if its the same remote and system, i can ring autobarn tomorrow morning for you cause they installed mine

Have your inidicators been broken by

someone recently? This is an old trick thieves use to short out older alarm systems that don't have fuses in the flasher circuits.

No.. the indicators like fine to me..

I think maybe someone just did a dodgy install..

Anybody know a round-a-bout price to get the old alarm taken out and a new one chucked in?

i called autobarn for you and the guy wasn't in who installed my alarm. he tried to help but didn't know what to do so ill have to wait till tomorrow until the installation guy comes back to work and he can help me then. until then hold in tight ay :D

oh and at autobarn it cost me 450 for the alarm and the install. that includes the immobilizer and central locking too. but because you already have the alarm system and the central locking it will probably be just for a half install, or a fix up so i would imagine not a lot at all
