Thanks is there a clip over the connector or dose it pull straight off?

    There is a clip

Use a fine screwdriver to remove the clip then the plug pulls straight out.

Just checked the AFM connector an was very CLEAN an DRY. Would the whole AFM itself be fooked. When car is running an i disconnect the AFM plug nothing happen's revs still dont go over 2500 an when i pug it back on revs drop then pick up an still wontt go over 2500. Any think else i should be checking or should i try another AFM on my car?

I still havent traced the problem causein the zed to run like shit.

BUT i took it for a lap round the block an noticed that when i accelerate the temp needle goes down up down up quickly an just flaps around the place. But sit's on normal op temp whilst on idle. Could the CTS be causin this problem. Any help would be GREAT.

    Excellent news

I have never heard a TPS not allowing revving over 2500rpnm, that is calssic AFM, but I have seen a Zed with a malfunctioning TPS, it would barely run at all

    Well that's because you'r right pexzed.
I thort i'd fixed it cause i took for a test run an all was good. Untill i went for another drive an it all happened AGAIN.
Ran a datascan an got codes 11&12 cas an afm.

What do i do now? Repace both faulty parts or could it be the plugs even tho i cleaned them.

Help please this is gettin frustraiting.

just a tip, slow 300 .. back to your first post .. suggest

that you will not have to worry about your cas/afm for too long if you continue to leave your zed running at the servo while you disappear inside to pay for your fill-up ..!!!! ..

I think the 2500rpm really outlines the AFM

as the culprit. Go with KZEDs suggestion, and swap out with a working AFM as a test, and go from there.
If you could use datascan as you were driving, or even at idle, it may also indicate problems with wierd figures showing the airflow gauge (like it might read zero all the time) or similar.
