Sounds to me like a faulty PTU I don't know a lot about this sort of thing, But i thought that was a common PTU failure thing. Just remembering what happened to Brenton. Hopefully someone can back me up on this:wacko: Fate...
Unfortunatly that wont work for people who dont want to spell correctly in the first place. Agree the Fate though. The PTU would be worth checking out.
Sounds like the PTU. Firstly, check the tech section and learn how to do an ECU diagnostic. A faulty PTU will most likely give you a return code of 21. Secondly, even though the original series PTUs were prone to failure, misbehaving due to dirty contacts is a much more common condition. Remove the PTU and the plug and clean every connector thoroughly. There are plenty of posts about this procedure if you go searching. Thirdly, while you are in the mood, there are lots of other connectors that need cleaning - there's lots of posts on that too. Fourthly, enrol in a remedial English class. Cheers :zlove:
Re: www.dictionary.com " Mirriors cant talk and lucky for you the cant laugh either " wtf is a mirrior?
Clean CAS & CTS connectors That's the Crank Angle Sensor & Coolant Temp Sensor connectors... CAS is likely culprit.
