Anyone live around the Lower Blue Mountains or Penrith area willing to help me with CO2 Sensors...im also willing to travel...Im doing the Blow UP jobby thingy myself .But will need help with the sensors. I just Paid $500 bucks for a service and they said its all ok. They said i have to get a SAFC to save fuel and get more power of course...But id like to test for myself. 300k's a tank is starting to shit me ,,especially because its a stocker TT

    O2 sensors you mean?

Anyway, there are many thing that will cause poor fuel economy and mine was similar to what you are getting. I have now added a pod filter and ECU upgrade which has helped. Things like cleaning injector connectors, electrical points in the engine, adjusting idle, TPS, CAS, all help your car to run more smoothly and give you better performance which usually entails better economy. I also ran a REDEX injector treatment in my fuel for a while which has helped.

I now get closer to 400+kms per tank, which is better but I plan to replace O2s and a few other things and hopfully get her running well again.

First thing you need is the results of the Air/Fuel Ratio Test they did.

That is assuming they did one(if they gave it a "clean bill of health", then they should have checked and should have the figures). When you get that info, we can offer you some assistance or advice on what to do next.
Did they tell you that the O2 Sensors needed attention, or are you just guessing?
