    Hi Guys,

I need someone to have a look at my calipers and see if they know what they are off. The original sale thread said that they are off a r34 but i am not sure.

    Any suggestions

I am looking at getting some dog bones and bigger rotors to bolt up to the existing hats

    Cheers

    Appear to be R33 GTS-T or R34 GTS-T standard Sumitomo's with a Brembo sticker.

Won't need a dogbone to work, should bolt up. If they are off a R34 there is a possibility that the holes in your hubs will need to be em-biggened :D

Looking at moving the caliper out as you can see that the pad was rubbing on the hat. I ground down the pad to clear it but would like to run bigger rotors, cause all the cool kids do.

Mr Nissan's brake bin lucky dip !!!!!

What size are the rotors ?
If they are off a R34 they should be 310mm rotors.

If the rotors are 280mm then you have either a zed caliper or a R32gtst of some description. R33 & 34 Sumitomo's had longer lugs to accomodate the larger rotors.

They are the wrong shape to be Z32.

Here is a big list of brake rotors to suit Nissan.

    Clicky

    Good variety in there

    You have Gtr33/34 rotors....

this means you already have "dogbone adaptors" fitted to push the Sumitomo caliper out to clear.

Could be GTR rotors with R34 GTT calipers, that's why the caliper is hitting the hat.

gtr rotor + r34 gtt caliper, that seems to be a good guess.

pretty sure r34 gt-t use M14 caliper bolts (zed & r33 use M12) so you should be able to check if the caliper mount has been drilled out to allow the larger M14 bolt to fit or you may have helicoils in the caliper with the standard M12 bolts.

Ok i have another element in the mix it seems.

The rotors i will say are the R34 GTT with upgraded Brembo Stickers:D:D

The Hats are from for a gtr or 350 track edition, but.. the rotors are a bit smaller being 296mm by 28mm DBA part number DBA5040.1

OK so now i can sleep easier.

    Thanks all for your help.

I think I will leave them as it stops pretty good.
