I finished installing my greddy profec E0-1 boost controller this afternoon I put my car all back together again and started it. But it sounds really harsh and likes it only running on four cylinders and only makes 5 pounds of boost. All my boost hose and vaccum hose conections are very good so I don't think they will be leaking. Unplugged the standard boost soleniods as well. I did an ecu diagnostic and got code 55 which is all good. And also whilst I was driving it a red light came on it looked like a pipe with something in the middle and squiggly lines coming off it. I only drove for about 2 minutes very easily as I thought my computer may be readjusting as it had been disconected for a few days.

    Any help would be great!!!!!!!

Light maybe referring to exhaust temp???

lights most likely cat temp caused by...

the fuel your dumping from not firing 2 pots, lower exhaust pressure, lower boost...check coil pack connectors, maybe be damaged, replace plugs, things like that

Oh and my car was running perfect b4 I put the EBC in.

And yeah the light does look like an exhaust like you said probably caused by the amount of fuel being dumped. I must have knocked a plug out or something to cause this problem.

    re:

you havn't disconnected the ecu from the loom at all? If you have you might not have tightened it up proper, but that should give an ignition circuit code.

Maybe two of your plugs just decided to give up the ghost at the exact time you were doing your other work...thats the way it always happens, and you end up looking for everything else, just do the routines. Disconnect coils until you work out which ones arn't firing, then check those for spark, if you have spark it could be injector plugs or something else.

    YAY WOOOO!!!

Cheers everyone!!! Cleaned and tested all coil, injector and other plugs in engine bay and fixed problem turned out it was the plug on the left side of the ptu tiny bit of corrosion made it all turn bad. It's all good now.
