Hey guys Last night the battery indicator (red),anti lock indicater (orange) and the lights indicator turned on in the dashboard and it wouldn't turn off..it happened after i was driving the car at high speed and high revs..they would not turn off..the battery indicator has something to do with the alternator right?? And when i was driving for a couple of kms this morning they went off and came on randomly..keeps turning on and off.. Any advice on this as to what I should do?? Cheers Sudam
no difference to da way it drives..now the "antilock" indicator's off but the battery indicator keeps coming on randomly..please help guys
hmmmm. I would start by simply checking your terminal connections. Many dumb electrical issues can be traced back to loose connectors or corroding ones. That is where I would check first. Then, if it persists I would check all grounds to the alternator harness and then on to all ground points on engine and body inside engine bay. Lastly, pull the battery and get it checked out. Then if it persists, pull the alternator and check that. That is the basic rundown I would do. If it is not consistent with revs I would bet on a loose or bad connection to the battery though.
