old member new name, hi all just a little hello, my old profile on here was revhead, i had a 89 t top na manual, but like most sold it on ,and spent the next 4 years dreaming of owning another z, so a 18 months ago ,i had one turn up in my workshop,in a sorry state it had a bad engine swap a shoddy clutch job, and had been sitting for a few years ,needless to say, i got it running for the owner,he paid then took his car, lets move forward to a month ago,id kept track on this z id done work on ,everytime i asked the owner to sell it to me he went quiet n didnt want to talk about the car , so after trying to buy it for so long ,i got in his face an waved $1000 in his face, he frowned a little then agreed to sell me the car,to say i was happy, was n understatement, he then told me he had partly stripped it to sell all the parts, i thought to myself shit what did i just do, so i got it dropped of to my workshop ,the aircon n heater where pulled out the left front seat was out ,the raidatior and ,well lets just say it was in a lot of pieces, so hello il start a build thread. cheers
Great time to be getting into a project build. Prices for donor cars are way down. You could well end up with a top car out of this. Where are you located? Oh, and welcome back.
