Started a plenum pull to replace a leaky VTC solenoid, and came across this coolant leak from drivers side heater hard pipe.

Ordered new OEM ones for both side, as I don't want to visit this a few months down the track. Passengers side is easy to replace, drivers side looks a bit more difficult.

    Is this replaceable engine in?
Also, just gasket glue to seal it to the block, or is there an o-ring involved also?

Yep, just gasket glue. I'm pretty sure you will have to remove lower plenum, then its easy as.

Got it out with the lower plenum in saving me from removing the timing belt. Tip is to remove the PCV hard lines, cam cover and VTC solenoid. Probably impossible if the EGR wasn't deleted.

The fun part will be getting the new one in, and getting the bolt holes lined up.

    This thing looks terrible.
