Wet drivers side, going through coolant like I'm drinking it and the smell of wet anti-freeze dog in the car...me thinks I've done a Heater Core!! Just a quick question and looking for opinions: I'm looking at doing the following while the dash is out: Replace heater core Fix lifting dash Fix A/C door module thingy Is there anything else I should replace like vacuum hoses etc while the dash is out? Lol, bugger the core. Just un-hose it. If you want something to do while the dash is out you could always add a tad extra soundproofing to the firewall...thats all i can think of...
Hey Speedy we will have to organise a tech day and do both our dash's and heater cores!! Where are you getting your heater core from?
Omigod! We should TOTALLY have a heater-core tech day! Mine's been royally buggered for about a year now!
I HATE dash removal! absolutely sh!t job! dash removal day, ouch! just hook up some vacuum hoses and wires for future use while the dash is off.
