heater core a/c evaporator HEEEEELP

    pulled the dash out to run my new loom question is i got rid of the a/c in engine bay side, can i get rid of all that crap/evaporator etc connected next to the heater box.. i want to keep the heater for winter and defog the windscreen.. if i remove that stuff will it affect the heater??

    why did u pull the dash you dont need too :bash:

    all you need to do is gut the Evap box and just reinstall it to complete the system between fanbox too heater box.

    that way everything else stays as OEM

    i looked at every angle to get to that fire wall bracket for the loom and easiest way was.. pull the dash plus i can wire all my gauges too.. and the gauge cluster was out to fit my new one so i was already half there but i sooooo didn wanna pull it out.. oh well :(

    didin want to put all that crap for a/c back in there :bash:

    i wanted it clear of all the crap for abit easier access in future

    I just removed glovebox and sorrounding plastic need crap,undone all the fan box , acc pipes and bolts from the A/ box , pushed the fan box to the LHS and pulled the A/C box out. anyways at least it out now

    so just gut it and reinstall cause u need it to get air from fan box too heater circuit,
    i reckon modifying the loom seal plate so it has nuts and the bolts in the engine bay it will be better
