Can anyone point me in the direction of info about adjusting/aiming the headlights on a z31? I recently put in new 5000k bulbs. I thought my lighting problem lied in my crappy old bulbs, apparently not. They seem to be pointed way down. Cheers guys. -Josh
Headlight adjustment Josh Check the tech section on the page, there is a great article from Blipman in which he has removed the headlight and shows with arrows waht screw adjusts what part of the beam. A-Z Index - Everything is listed in here > headlights Neill
Thanks Neill, but that appears to be only for a Z32. I need info for a Z31. They have different, square, pop-up style headlights. Thanks again for your help.
From Z31 Haynes Repair Manual Headlights have two spring loaded adjusting screws, one on the top controlling up and down movement and one on the side controlling left and right mevement
shouldn't be too hard every car i have looked at it's pretty easy ti find the two screws. One on top (for up and down adjustment) and one on the side (for horizontal adjustment). Although I guess it might be different with pop ups.
this help? not knowing how the light is attached to the light bucket I would guess one of these screws would adjust them. I would say most likley those top two in the corner as they are there without the light in place.
I'm still having problems with this guys. I was just trying to do it then, but I cant get to anything its so crowded. And I dont see any adjustment screws? Please Help. Cheers, Josh. Also, I found these weird clips at the on the front of the headlights. They're on the headlight frame, just above the glass (looking from the front) Behind these clips are screws, I thought they might be it, but they arent doing anything.... :worthless: I know, I dont have a cam, sorry
