Dalby Zed Specialists completed a long list of work this weekend, including:

    100k service
    Plenum push/bypass
    Rear main seal
    New EFI loom installed
    Suspension swap
Dash pull and heater core replaced
    New amp fitted
    Centre-bearing replaced
    etc.

Karl, Jo and their 3 girls had a bit of help from:

    Benny_C & HaylZ
    Sticky
    Nasty Girl
    Magic Mike & Cara
    Chrispy
    and me....

Pics will tell the story :p but all credit to Ashleigh & Cara for r & r'ing the dash with minimal incompetent supervision... well done girls! :zlove:

Cameron had a tyre blow out at 100k and survived.... otherwise a great weekend.

Was a great weekend and very rewarding to help a fellow Zedder out. Thanks to Karl and Jo for your accomodation. :D

Yes, I had a hard trip getting there, with the clutch slipping more and the blow out half way between Toowoomba and Dalby.
Thanks to Ash for saving the day as I had no spare and thanks to HayleZ for the easy ride home. :) Love ya!
I drove away with not a new tyre, but a whole set of 19's wrapped in brand new falken rubber. That's one expensive fix! :p

Now to find the time to swap my clutch over. :(

Mike puts nails in Stick's tyres when he is asleep, and has a will bequeathing the 300 to Mike that he got Sticky to sign one knight during a drunken binge, no doubt a few panels will be damaged meh hes only after the running gear.

Tambo was the result of a bulge formed from drift practice a week prior on a cheap and nasty set of tyres that came with the wheels!

This time, I had a big nail in it and it slowely leaked flat while on the highway, got the shakes up something fierce and heaps of tyre smoke...Killed the tyre good and proper. Will allign camber and hope I don't have any further troubles.

Any time HayleZ. :) Need to contact me with your details and get some wheels before the weekend. My car needs some serious love before the next long trip. But hey, if I have to then I will.

    BlueZ Oldie but a goodie

Well done to NastyGirl and Cara.

Ashleigh call earlier and was telling us about the heater core. I was surprised and impressed.

Of course, she could have done it in about 30 minutes once the screw in the hard pipes was removed, and with a plenum pull, that would have been a piece of cake. But, you can't put a price on experience and learning value alone make its worth it. Well done girls....

BTW Ashleigh, don't expect any help putting your new interior in when you get it done. :)

I had a great time working on the zed even if we had the dodgy job of pullin a dash :p..... Go the Girls!!!

Thanks heaps to Karl and Jo for their hospitality and to Haylz for a great dinner :)

Great to see the zed community come together to help Haylz out.... Lookin forward to see it all done at Gympie!!

Fat chance! :p Did you read Haylz's post about posting pics up today when she's at work? Didn't think so.

    Benny_C About as subtle as...

Yep, had a great weekend! Got so much done, i don't think any of us thought we'd pull off so much work! but with the help of many competent workers and some teamwork, we got stacks done! all that remains now is to give the engine bay a quick spray, drop the engine back in, tidy up a couple of other little things, and give it a tune. Done!

Another great time was had though, even when not working on the Zed. Great laughs, more increadible food by HaylZ! Oh, and to Ash for sandwiches for lunch too! :)

Ash, you impressed the shit out of me on the weekend! Working on the dash didn't scare you at all and got stuck into it - considering it's a PIG of a job and something that i'd rather never have to do again in my life. Great work, and it's great to see more female enthusiasm into Zeds!

Rob, it's always great seeing your work too mate. A very focused and knowledgable man, and was great seeing more of your work. :zlove:

Karl and Jo, thanks again for having us. We just had to try out sleeping in the tent on the Trambampoline, but probably not the wisest thing on such a cold night. But apart from that it was a great stay out there! :)

However by the time we got back home and ready for a good sleep we got a second wind from meeting a friendly chap out at my country pub who was showing us through his $500,000 Prime mover. 600hp 16Litre, turbo'd 6 cylinder engine. And guess what, not only did i get to honk it's air horns, but i got to Bev-Rev it!! :D:D:D However, he didn't do a burnout in it even after we pestered him

See you all at Gympie!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :zlove::zlove::zlove::zlove::zlove::zlove:

**and i'll see you again next weekend Karl and probably Cam** :)
