What i would do... instead of spending 600 bux on shitty leatherette... save for a little bit longer and get the seats done in real leather or a nicer fabric...

for $600 you can get two sparco buckets if you shop around.

or... could get a very nice recaro or bride seat for that type of coin.

But bucket seats aren't that comfortable for long trips, plus leather looks impressive while buckets make you look rice! I was wondering about these seatcovers too actually (the$600 ones). What is the quality like? Are they just a slide on seatcover? Or do you have to take the original material off your seats first?

Despite what everyone else is saying, Ultimate Auto Trim make very good stuff. Plenty of my friends have UAT covers in their cars and it looks and feels great.
You wouldn't know the difference unless you put it side by side with real Italian leather.

"Proseat" also look pretty good. Haven't seen/felt their material in person though.

i'd take a set of bride seats over retrimmed leather zed seats ANY day.

Personally I prefer the luxury look rather than the race car look, but that's just me.
I'm doing mine in cream leather soon :zlove:

It couldn't possibly look worse than the shitty leather I've got in my car at the moment.

I've been in a car with leatherette. Even hotter and stickier than leather, makes the car interior smell like plastic and you can tell straight away it not leather. AND if you shop around its negligible quantities more expensive for leather, so why would you bother

yes.... it could... seriously real leather is not THAT much more... im not a huge fan of leather anyway, much prefer velour etc.. Check out URHYNS or rob260's interiors now they actually look luxurious :)...

Very happy with mine from Real Leather (see Matin's post above). Not the best pic but quality and fit very good. I chose the perforated leather centre and bought more perforated leather to recover the dash

Cash isn't an issue :) I'm going to be putting about $10k into my zed.
It's just so annoying seeing these mint cars, then looking at mine with the interior cracks, creaks, rattles, scratches, dents etc.
I thought my car was in A1 condition when I first saw it, but looking at everyone else's cars here just makes me realise how far from perfect it really is.

    Ah well, goodbye $$$
