i want to convert my auto to manual so i found this manual half cut for $2500 its a 92 model the engine looks good the harnest looks like new we did the engin compresion and 5 ciliders had 150 and 1 had about 140-145 the engine runs good sounds ok to, the only problem i got is it has 195000 km my question is is it worth buying???
Did u end up finding out how long the motor had been sitting? i take it ur the same guy i replyed to the other day? 2.5k is ok for a man half cut , how bout u offer him a couple of hundred less? worst is he can say is no . I wouldn't worry about the klm too much ,they sound like REAL klms to me . Regards Trev
Good price for a half cut. Not too sure about a man half cut though. Could be trouble I know, :lame:.
Doesn't sound too bad. 12 months ago, $3000 or so seemed to be the going rate. However, I then found the $3000 half cut I was considering was plus GST and plus delivery, which brought it up to $3700 all up. That didn't look like such a good deal to me.
in the for sale section there is a manual conversion kit for sale for cheap... why do u want the motor as well?
i think thats really cheap for a half cut.. i got quoted 4k for one.. i was like... get f***ed i can get a whole car for that...
i tried he didnt want to lowwer the price, i see him tomorro ill ask about how long its been sitting like that!!
i blow a rod on my one i wouldn't bother thanging anithing on it but when the rod went i thout when im changing the engine might as well do the gearbox as well it cheaper this way.
