    5K1TZX Its all never ending....

I dont know alot about them...there are alot floating around on ebay but just not quite sure on what to get.

I want them to be as BLUE as possible, not white, not blue white, but BLUE....even that blue its almost purple would be good.

Im not worring about the law I just want the bluest.

Whats the go, do most or all kits fit? Can anyone recommend certain ones? Are all bulbs universal in reguards to Kelvin rating?

Cheers, as much info as possible would be great!? :)

Just get the ones offered for sale here by Bankids or by the other fellow currently selling in the for sale section.
Kelvin rating should be fairly universal, however, no two lights will be "exactly" the same.

Send PMs to these fellows and ask them what they recommend to suit your taste etc.
Afterall, they would be the experts, the rest of us just have opinions ;)

What are your kelvin rating on your HID low beams? They look nice.

Just buy the cheapest, nastiest ones you can find, as you won't be using them very often. A SEARCH would indicate that:

A: They will be illegal(so a Defect Notice will be in your immediate future),

B: You won't be able to see where you're going because of the poor light distribution from that colour frequency,

C: Why waste money on HID's for a car that can only be used in daylight hours?

    Answer to your questions Chili

1: I know they are Illigal by the "books" but were in Tassie, and cops dont pull you up for cruising without a bonnet on. And besides some cop cars depending on make and model run HID's down here :p

2: I dont mind about the "visability" as they are just going to be for the low beams.

3: I love cruising with mates at night. They are just gonna be for appearance only, and when im travelling highways or NEED light I use my highbeams which I have turned a bit downwards so I dont blind other motorists but still give me suffienient distance.

not certain if I understand your question

H3C ARE the fit for ALL/ANY globes to fit into Z32 JASpec low beam housings/reflectors. Asking if all globe sockets HID come with fit into headlight housings is like asking if all 16" wheel rims fit onto the car, there are 5 and 4 stud rims [ Z32 is 5 stud !], and there are are different type of globe fittings, H3C are the fitting type for Z32 JASpec low beam housings/reflectors, irrespective of bulb electrics [ HID, etc]

Yeah as henpecked said, you have your fake HID tinted H3C bulbs, then you have the real HID kits with all the additional wiring, but they're still H3C fitments that you need.

I guess if you take the view that Headlights are just decorative items with no practical purpose, then you can do damned near anything to them.
If, like many of us, you feel they may also serve some higher function(like seeing where you are going for instance) then you need to buy HID's with an H3 type globe fittment(they have the same base flange design as a normal H3/H3C globe).:bash::zlove:

As Pexzed said get them from Bankids

Good product, works well. He has full colour range and kit will fit. Lots of us have them. You seem to know what you want and the risks with defects etc.

Buy good ones because if you are correct and you get away with it in Tassie, then you are not going to want to replace them in 6 months time.

Get the quality that you want to keep!
    Cheers Tim

Thats a bit too sarcastic, what about those of us that are so damn superior to everyone else that we don't need headlights at all, all we do is bend over in the direction we are traveling and the sunshine that comes out of out fundamental orifice lights the way !! Some of us have FO's that are sooooo big that it like turning night into day !!!!

Of course there are those that know it all so well anyway, that they know without looking or listening to anyone else where they are going eh!!

    Hi there Henny Penny,
What level of sarcasm would you deem appropriate in a reply to someone who states that the Low Beam Headlights are only going to be used for appearance(whilst cruising with his mates)?:p:eek::eek:

I actually thought I did quite well by not crossing over in to ill-concealed contempt.;):zlove:

BTW, can you furnish me with the name of the firm that supplies your glare resistant undies?:biggrin::zlove:
