Yet another super event hosted by Greg & Tammy and a huge turn-out! What was the count ... 20 Zeds/30 people? Something like that AndyMac came all the way from Sydney to slake his thirst plus DinoZ and HPCoolahan from Central NSW and Brissie Beauty from Canberra. HaylZ was resplendent in Shaven Haven, ex Dalby Zed Specialist make-over and had a trouble-free run in 38 degrees ambient temps, boosting at every opportunity... you hoon! Huge thanks to Pex for putting on a big spread and also Cara for her delicious breakfast of muffins... you're a legend. Pics should be coming up soon.
Agreed. I had a great night. Can't wait for the next one. Thanks Greg for the night and Cara for breakfast
ripper weekend HUGE THANKS once again to Greg and Tammy for their hospitality. Was great seeing all the faces from everywhere again. Sad saying goodbye, not knowing when it will be before we catch up. A total Fire ban meant we had to find something else to entertain ourselves with... Alcohol + Glow sticks = Early morning antics. :cool2: What a great bunch you all are. BRING ON THE NEXT BIG EVENT! Loved it...
What a day to go for a drive to Gympie 38deg ambient and a handfull of us without working aircon Thanks again to Greg and Tammy for hosting this event. Mia and I had a blast. Nice property you have out there but that driveway is a bit scary. I didnt think I was going to make it up at one point. The carrot/glowstick cannon was a success with quite a few people having a go. I even remember Tammy letting off a round. Thank to Fate for sorting us out with some decent deodorant to use as propellant. I look forward to seeing that awesome photo Cameron got of it. Special mention to Bazemy and Stigemy for putting on another wonderful episode of TOP CHEER. AndyMac, You know how to make an entrance. Good to see you again. Who invited the bugs? I appologise if we didn't say goodbye to everyone before leaving ahead of everyone today. I was close to finishing a carton last night and was not in a good way this morning. Ill get to try those muffins of yours one day Cara. Sorry if I was to "huggy' Tammy. I cant remember that. OOPS
haha. why am i scared when i hear youve been around drinks and glowsticks haha. good to see you all had a good time. see if i cant drag myself up next year. might go on a 2 week long road trip to QLD with the Z later in the year
We also had a great night - thanks to everyone who made it fun - that is ALL of you, as per usual Great to meet some new people, and awesome to catch up with those that we hadn't seen since Warwick, and a big cheer for all those who drove or flew in from all over the place to attend. Special thanks to Tammy and Greg for their amazing hospitality, Baz and 571cky for their entertaining antics, and K-zed for attempting to keep us all in line Am guessing about now I had better start thinking about a date for the Christmas party Thanks again everyone, and I believe this is my first zed event that was hangover free - yeaaaaaaaaa...........girlie drinks RULE
friggin excellent. yet another great feed put on and great company to keep you going all night long. don't know how i got back down to my tent. so that you mr and mrs pex and to cara for the exploding egg muffin
Same story here too... Great night, great company, great hangover... Was good to put a couple more faces to names Good to see so many people go to the effort of travelling such long distances to make it My zed has now done 1500kms Put full load on it a few times too and it's still going 38deg temps weren't a hassle either Looking forward to the next 'Gimp'y overnighter Now where's the pics???
thanks to all for another top, QLD zed weekend and an especially big thank you to pex and tammy for their wonderful hospitality ..... .. and lots of fun with Al's BOOM BOOM machine ..... just brilliant .... .. congrats to Chrisy and Magic Mike on their award wins ... lol... .. and watch the GB section for that amazing 'product of the month', the SOI, aka "the Sausage Oscillation Index" .. a zed essential tool ...... p.s. ... am not too sure that i keen to see the pics ..lol...!!!
What a great weekend, glad I put decommissioning my Z off till the following week. Greg and Tammy sure know how to throw a party, just add ferrals (us) and instant success. Drive home today was not the most joyful experience due to combination of distance, lack of sleep and alcohol infliction that my body just aint used to any more. Great to see the faces that came up from Mexico too
Thanks Greg and Tammy! Sorry I got carried away, hope I didn't break anything. Photobucket has hit an all time low for me so the pics are delayed. Will post them up if I don't throw my laptop across the room first!
It was an awesome weekend!!! HUGE thank-you to Pex and Tammy for putting on another great event!! And of course Cara for her fantastic muffins. Was great to meet some new faces and catch up with the usuals. Shame it had to be this weekend that I got sick..... but the rum and Benny's air-con seemed to help Bring on the Xmas party!!!!
Pex and Tammy still havn't got rid of us after Pat, Andy & I crashed at their place last night. By now Andy should be half way to his next booking or Tamworth, whichever comes first. Am now a paid up member of 1300 Yo Bro Wait for Pat to post pics when we get home
I had a great time with all my old Zed mates And thanks to Baz for presenting me with the "Golden Cotter Pin Award" for my useful posts and screwing up uni Here are some piccies, I only have a couple, Cindy took lots but I don't think they will be up for a few days. Putting up tents and zed parking for those who couldn't make it up the hill Looking down from the top of the hill Pretty view from the top Baz should have washed the 'vert On the way home just before the Macca's stop.
Thanks so much to all that came. It made our weekend to see you all there. I'm sure those bacon/egg muffins get better each time you make them Cara, cheers for putting up with getting kicked straight out of bed and in front of the BBQ . Looking forward to the next event, and next year's Gympie sleepover which seems to be ever popular. Lets see if we can crack 50 people next year. We do need some Victorian representation. Tammy said, it was her most hugged weekend ever (Thanks Ztoy-LOL) Shadow fighting, did I her Bonnie Tyler Karaoke, other things being set off on the house pad . Great night all round. Thanks for the gift also, much appreciated, and will save until next year's (my 40th)
What a weekend it was!!! Had a fantastic drive down with Benny C, Haylz and Karl (who I thank for not leaving me behind in their boost clouds). Lots of nice scenery and testing roads to drive on It was great seeing old friends and faces, as well as meeting great new people not only from the surrounding areas but also from great distances away! So much enthusiasm! A huge thank you goes out to Pex and Tammy for putting on the weekend, food and great hospitality. Jess and I both thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and we'll definitly be putting in the effort again for this event next year Jess took some pictures from the event which she is hoping to do some shopping to and then post up here for your enjoyment And it was sheer luck that we managed to catch you on the way home Karl
