QLD Gympie Sleepover October 3rd-4th

There is still a local fire ban in effect until 23:59 Monday 5 October 2009 for the Gympie area. So looks like there wont be a bonfire.

If Fate needs a hug I'm willing to supply one if he feels he needs it.

Crikey Andy, if you leave your place at 3am you still won't get to Gympie till probably 6pm that night, with straight driving

When do you have to be back home? Not for work on monday morning i hope.

~30hrs driving over 2 days could be quite exhausting for a Zedder! but you'd earn a trophy i'm sure!

Yes, hopefully we will get some of that forecast rain this afternoon, and they might lift it. Will keep an eye on the ruralfire website in any case. anyway

 

No worries. I'll check with the SOCC tomorrow morning and see what they say. I'm also seeing a fire in Kings Forest just outside Gympie which they're gonna let burn overnight. Hopefully the place we're staying isnt near there :S

Passed through a camera van at coomera on the m1 at 7:30am. just be aware
also is currently raining up there so hopefully it's a good sign for our bonfire plans.

 

argh......i hope it stops raining though before we get there..........ahhh, what the hell.......i don't think that will deter us anyway
