Use search, there are countless threads about which oil to use in zeds. I use either mobil 1 or penrite syn...
thanks I used once penrite syn 15w-40 but I went to other shop last time and guy told me that castrol magnetic 10w-40 is very good for Z hmmm
I'm currently using BP Visco 3000, 15W-50, which actually has reduced, if not eliminated, the problem I had with idle smoke. I previously used to use Castrol, GTX-2 20W-50. My car has 139,000 k's on the clock. If you understand what the numbers mean, then you should choose an oil relevent to your needs. eg; 20W is the cold start viscosity rating. The lower the number, the faster the oil will flow @ start-up. 50 is the operating temp" viscosity rating, and is usually recommended for older vehicles, or worn in engines. Newer engines only really require a thinner oil. As long as the oil you use, states it is rated for high performance, or turbo charged engines.
Agreed sedat everyone will give different answers. I don't think using a different brand will do any harm. Just as long as you keep your oil changes regular like every 5000k's
Exactly Nigel, but i did feel a slight performance increase and the engine ran much smoother when i switched to Penzzoil from Motul and Castrol.
MOTUL 100% synthetic I use that, I havent had any dramers and it kills the smokeyness from blown tubrbo seals coz it has a higher burining point over most oils. In my NA i ran some cheap shit that was put in it and I had to top it up weekly with the motuil in my TT I basicly never have to top it up.
