We are doing full tidy up of the panels and full respray for Superlap and Dat Nissan Nats. We are also flaring front guards and front bar, making side skirts and making some big vents behind front wheels. We are then painting it Satin-mat black with Satin clear. We then will put in your face graphics, and looking for input here. Thinking there might be some creative people out there with some ideas? Emphasis being our name UNIQUE AUTO SPORTS.
Looks good Jono, similar to the 'Bright Print' GTR. It had subtle signage like that and stood out because it was different... An artistic signwriter can do awesome stuff with digital printing. Good to see she is finally getting a facelift . The mat black will look tough John, great choice!.
Sounds like a nice challenge/competition...Do you have high res images from different angles so we can submit them? I'd like to have a go at this, wil lbe fun
The Millen car is just fantastic. I just wish I had to resourses and cash to make something close to that for a track car. The closest i could get is the paint scheme I fear. Its the ultimate track Z32
yes i agree with sim300... get a decent graphic designer to make up a cool design for the side, bonnet ect and have him incorperate the UAS logo into it, perhaps have him redesign it to go with the decals. and definatly the same colour scheme as that 350z, looks tough as!:bash:
Yep nice Geoff and Ron will get you back you realise? We now have software that allows us to play with fonts and size, shapes etc. When I get down to a few selections I will post them up for a vote.
Is there a company logo? Do we need to use the same font as on the current car? Are you keeping the orange withing the theme?
We are thinking to keep simple and not too busy. Utilising chrome white and red colours. Same or similar logo as our site. Keep the ideas and links coming.
Car skins could be a relatively cheap way to attain high quality. And you can get a carbon fibre look http://www.decentlyexposed.com.au/search_autoskin/?search_autoskin&industry=Vehicle+Wrapping
Just remember that the Chrome Vinyl the sign writers use isn't UV stable and is almost impossible to peel off once it's gone off. So make sure your sign writer uses another layer of vinyl under the chrome. If you get him to do a small black border, the black would blend into the paint and you'd be able to remove it easily if/when the chrome goes off. If I were you i'd skip the red and white, just go chrome on black. Huge "Unique" with small "Auto Sports" under it like on your web site.
Instead of the chrome boxes put text instead Instead of the chrome boxes put text instead ... I like the white nissan ish white stripe on black
Hey JP, I saw a top fueller the other day that was satin black with, predominately, simple red/white graphics. Certainly looked the part with legible signage.
