I am think on changing the targa strips that run down the windscreen and over the roof etc and the rear quarter panel and door window seals.
Mine are all faded and look crap now:(

For those that have done this, is it straight forward or a pain!
    Advice welcomed
    Cheers:biggrin:

    easy fix .. to like new ...!!! .. i sanded mine back(lightly)

washed them down with "septone" wax and grease remover ... masked surrounding areas off (wide coverage), then spray with a plastic or etch primer .. and finish off with a couple of coats of spray paint ....

i finished mine off ( all windows, w/screens, targa strips) with a metallic charcoal .. came up tops and minimal cost ....  :zlove: :zlove:

i did the strip along the roof and windscreen, pretty easy. jsut follow the tech article. the worst bit is getting the strips off the targas (you have to drill through plastic to get to the screws). also, its really easy to break the clips when taking the ones off the windscreen. i broke 1 main one, went to nissan and got a new one in 2 days for $3, so no big deal.

once they were off i stripped the original finish with paint stripper, the cleaned and spayed in 'bullbar black' from supercheap, looks good, very glossy and is durable.
