Not sure if I am going to make it now.

Some total knobhead sold me a plenum bolt with a heat warped thread and now I have to replace my whole lower plenum because the bolt snapped off after only 3 turns. We tried all of the eazyout and nut welding methods. No workies! . . . .

Very sad and now a part worth a few dollars is going to cost me hundreds . . . .

Never buying anything off the forum again . . . period. LOL. Serious.

    Please note:

I have taken the oportunity to delete the "through Geelong" section and use the Geelong Ring Road for all the options listed in my last post.

The reason for this change is the high degree of difficulty of getting 30~40 odd cars through Geelong without either loosing them or spreading the group out over a large area due to the traffic light situation.
The Ring Rd gives us an easy run and brings us to a point that is easy to find for all those attending this run. The Ring Rd is also far easier to get onto compared to trying to navigate all the cars into the city at the junction point.

Departure time from Melbourne - will depend on which route is chosen but should be around the usual 8.00~ 8.30am from the usual location

Geelong Meetup point for Geelong/western, & central Vic members will also be advised when the route is chosen

Meetup points - again will depend on the route chosen.

    Meeting point problems

I wanted to flag this now so there are no issues later on. With all the road works, lane changes and just general bullshit going on the west gate freeway at the moment, the Shell servo / KFC there on todd rd may not be a suitable place as it has been in the past. Many of the lanes have been barricaded, and for people not familiar with the area, its quite easy to be in the wrong lane and then miss the entry lane into the servo. And there is no where nearby that you can turn around to some back. Anyone who drives the westgate often (as I do) will know what I'm talking about. With the amount of zeds and other cars attending so far, this could become problematic and delay the cruise. So do we keep the meeting point at todd rd and just suck it and see, or do we meet somewhere else??? trouble is, the next large servo along the route is the large BP servo near avalon.....

it's not that bad. just pay attention to the signs and not rely on the GPS and you won't miss it.

i took the day off work. won't be missing this one.
