Got it done at Tint a Car...

had to get the tint from US as it is illigal here!. It is not mirror just blue. Go to US Ebay and there is heaps of the stuff, you just need to send out a lot of
and most will say no but some will.

The Tint look great!, now need some time off work to take photo's

Are you sure its illegal? I thought there wasnt any ruling on different colour tints in Australia - Just the darkness and reflectiveness

Alot of the Commander company cars (commo stationwagons) have blue (slightly mirror) tint on them so that cant be that illegal! I had pretty damn reflective blue on my Accord and had no problems either. The tinter even gave me lifetime warranty on it!

Damn, i just had a look and its sooo damn cheap! Obviously most of the money is in the labour to get it done, but i was still expecting more for the tint...

Is this similar to what you got?

Is 20" high enough though? Would have thought the back window would not quite be covered by that much...

Yes 20" is not tall enough for the rear...

but it was the same width as mine, joined along a dimistor line and you cant see the join.

The seller you have found wont deliver to Aus, I asked before!, ceep trying and you will find someone that will! ;)

It cost me $230 in labour including a winscreen strip using the same tint and about $50 for the tint. A lot cheaper than like $400 to use there stuff.

LoL, thanks, you wouldnt want to make life easier and tell me who you bought through??

Thanks for the info on the width of the tint. I was worried I would need much wider!

Any pics yet? Is it a deep blue? or does it look black from outside the car? I am looking for green/aqua tint (its a VIP thing ;))

I'd like it if there was a tad more reflection...

What did they sting you for installation at tint a car cuz I just bought some 1% window tint off ebay...BRING ON THE DARKNESS!!

$230 to put it on, I am going back to see them due to...

them breaking all the lower plastic door lining tabs and braking the skrew system in the upper door tower thing.

    at the same time....

those clips are bloody easy to break. all of mine broken when i took my doors off. they should be able to replace them though, a pack for one door costs a few bucks from supercheap auto.

i think the tint compliments your car really nicely. how is it driving with it?

    Something like this??

I had that done in Newcastle, supplied & fitted with lifetime warranty for $250...

But Plasmo i REALLY like the outcome on your Z... I have done mirror tint before, and now i want something EXACTLY like what you have - less bling, all class... Would you mind PM'ing me the contact details for the seller that sold you that tint?

Btw, can you take some better pics? Like through the side of the car so we can see how much blue is in it? And with the door open from inside the car (so you can see the contrast between the blue window and the sky/background)
