    Hi
We have a Jap spec Z32 that beeps when the speed goes above 105 or 110 kph, which is really annoying when the limit is 110
Does anyone know how to turn it off or set the warning beep to a higher speed?
    Thanks
    :D

Answer is in the tech section. I've got to get rid of the reversing beep, everyone looks around for a truck.

    You mean cluster hood?

I just ripped out and destroyed both during the manual conversion. :bash: Stupid idea. Obviously for the stupid driver.

The Speed chime should be at the top of the list for any new Z owners mod list but then again, the longer you put up with it the better it feels when you finally disable it ;)

My car wont start either the battery is stuffed or the starter motor.... so I just got rid of the speed alarm too :) 2mins to do and the guy who owned the car before me put up with it for four years lol.

Cant find an article on the reversing alarm tho.

I still have mine, I find it a handy warning in the suburbs to slow down. Also if you can hear that pissy little chime over the stereo/exhaust/engine then you need a better exhaust or a louder stereo.

Now correct me if I'm wrong, but if you disable the speed chime by pulling out the chime unit, you also lose the "lights on" warning when you leave the lights on and ignition off.

There is a screw in the back of the dash cluster (going through part of the copper ribbon wire) with 100k written next to it. You have to pull the cluster out to see the back of it. I've always wondered if removing this screw disables the speed chime. Anyone want to put up a confirmation of this?

There is a seperate wire under the cluster lid thing. Green wire with a bullet connector, just yank it out and it's done. Door and light chime still works, but no speed chime, I've done this to several Zeds.
