no didnt see it.... i knew it was meant to be in there somewhere, but I didnt see it.... what scene was it in? Cheers
Anybody notice the 350z? Ties in beautifully in episode 5, 20 years later when you see the 240 and 280z. Ryan.
jedis ah how sad was it when all the jedi's got wiped out.. didnt notice the mellenium falcon.. wat scene is it in coz i wanna see it too? all the other little tie ins i saw.. but i feel unforfilled.. somethings missing.. it just ended.. wrong, dont ask me why i just have that feeling
Yeah, it wasn't bad. I liked the end when Vadar was born. I liked the fact that his suit still had the really chunky buttons on it, like the original. I'll be seeing it again, as the girl friend was pissed I didn't go see it with her :embarrassed:
Only bad thing is how the entire movie is based on how annican loves padmay and its all for her, to keep her safe and then when she dies all he says is "nooooo"
Saw ROTS last nite on VMax... One word to sum it up...AWESOME! My thoughts on it : 1) The most political of all the StarWars - I was glued to my seat just for the politics alone. 2) Didn't see the Millennium Falcon as suggested in a previous post. 3) Hayden Christensen was thoroughly more convincing as an actor in this movie than the previous two. On the other hand tho, Natalie Portman was still semi-convincing in her role as Padme. 4) Chewy could of had a lengthier role. 5) Very powerful when Obi Wan said that he was on higher ground and suggested that Anniken shouldn't fight him, but still did and suffered the consequences. 6) Turning point for me was when Palpatine and Anniken were in the auditorium watching the opera - that was when he really turned to the dark side. 7) The masking of Darth Vader scene - great cinematography. Lucas used the entire screen to portray that image. 8) Did James Earl Jones play Vader's voice in this movie? Anyone sit through the entire credits sequence to check who did what? 9) Noticed how technology wound itself back to the 70s era? Examples include : interior of the Corellian Corvette in basic white with 70s looking operating buttons on the dash and no more droids at the controls of star destroyers but rather imperial officers. 10) Another powerful scene was when Luke was handed over Aunt Beru and uncle Owen. Then the setting of the twin suns...absolutely magic. Lucas has mentioned that this similar scene in Episode IV (with Luke) was his favourite scene and I tend to agree with him. 11) Were any creatures harmed in the making of this film??? 11) Grievous was a coughing robot??? WTF??? 12) Fantastic saber fights, leaves the duel with Vader and Obiwan in Episode IV for dead, no pun intended. So that's it, no more StarWars on the big screen. Although I did hear somewhere that they might be making a TV series. Can anyone confirm this?:thumbsup::thumbsup:
Check this out re: tv series Heard on the radio Bert Newton's son is gonna be the tv-series Anakin Skywalker haha Clicky Good on him if he gets it. Also the series is apparently scheduled for 100 eps...that's quite a few seasons! Cheers, Rich
General Grievous wasn't actually a robot. He was part machine and part living tissue. His coughing was due to his chest being crushed by Mace Windu while escaping from Coruscant with the captured Palpatine. The movie actually started off exactly where the clone wars micro series ended.
