just a quiery. when you guys do your 5k km DIY services what do you actually do?

It's a bit weird servicing a zed cos on mine:

The spark plugs are iriduim so last 100,000km
Air filter is pod so clean once every nown again..

Leads and plugs how often do i change them? they seem fine.

And all that is really needing to be done is change the oil and oil filter.

    any input?

    Cheers

    Pete....

Ok, u should change your oil filter every 4000-5000km, and oil(depending on brand) 8000-10000km.

As for the pod filter try to clean it the same time you do a oil/oil filter change, depending on where you drive e.g. dusty roads....every 2000kms as they get very dirty plus it doesnt take long to do anywayz.

With the spark plugs, even though they say 100,000km you might want to change them around 80,000km(2-3 years) they only cost $100 for the set and having something newer in the car is better than having something older in the car.

Coolant change at least every 12 months and the best time to change it is just before summer.

Brake fluid change at 12 month intervals aswell.

Zeds dont have leads so dont worry about them, its direct fire injection.

Besides that whenver you do a service always check all fluids to make sure they are topped up and at the correct level.

    Hope this helps
