Gearboxs

What type of gearbox is better on the 300zx and I need some reasons to why its better, etc.

 

By gearbox I presume you are talking auto/manual. The question is really......what do you want?

within the limits of the average Z owners pockets

both standard transmissions will probably take the power no problem, perhaps some small work on the auto and a new clutch for the manual... so it comes down to personal preference, personally i'd like both with a switch to toggle which one i used
