Hey guys, I've been having this problem of a vibration coming from where the gearbox is located in my NA Z32. We thought that it was the gearbox and got a new gearbox into the car the other day and put back the same clutch and flywheel. The vibration only comes when taking off from a very low speed such as on the 2nd, 3rd gear and even the 1st gear at times. The vibration has reduced in comparison to before, but is still present. I am currently using a Excedy clutch on the car, so I'm not sure whether it is the clutch. Anyone, got any ideas what it really could be? The tail shaft bearing has already been done as well since the gearbox came out and all mounts are in A1 condition. Anyone else has had this problem on their zed's as well?????
I have a vibration in my Zeds drive train which from the symptoms (vibration @ around 70kph) almost everyone would say was the center bearing, but is in fact the uni connection at the diff housing being quite slack. No more dragging until I get it fixed!
