May be some one can help me here?I did a search but only found mention of gears crunching. Mine isnt that bad but when I change gears I can feel the gears catch as I shift gears. Is this a common thing as a NA I had before had exactly the same feel. The clutch in mine has been replaced by the previous owner to a button clutch. I suspect clutch has some wear to it but doesnt slip at all. My clutch pedal tends to grab about 1/2 way up on release. Most cars Ive driven the clutch grabs earlier. I have thought of changing the gear oil ? or could it be the clutch.
Zed comming of the road for a couple months to do some other work to it so will be a good time to get this isolated.

Gene mate, mine does a similar thing >

especially while cold... As it warms up it seems to 'grab' less... The only suggestions I've found to help this out is to try a better gear oil, but I've constantly been told that this is the start of a problem and all I'd be doing is covering it up...To be honest my gearbox has felt that way since I bought the car 2.5 years ago (95,000km's or so), and my gearbox tends to get treated pretty harshly }DThe gearbox seems fine to me, apart from a slight crunch here and there while cold, she acts fine... I wouldn't worry too much Gene, but if you find an easy fix, let me know, hey? ;) :-Z
